Designation: Deputy General Manager / General Manager – QA/QC

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech – Civil
• Experience: 20+ years in QA/QC function (Highway / Expressway)
• Job Location: Head Office, Ahmedabad

Job Description:

• Develop and implement corporate-level QA/QC policies, procedures, and systems aligned with national and international standards (IRC, MORTH, ISO, etc).
• Oversee the QA/QC Function across all ongoing highway and expressway projects, ensuring standardization and uniform quality practices.
• Review and approve Quality Manuals, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all projects.
• Liaise with client, consultants, and independent Engineers for quality audits, inspections, and approvals.
• Monitor site-level QA/QC Performance, laboratory setup, and testing Facilities.
• Conduct periodic technical audits and quality inspection at project sites.
• Review and analyze non-conformities, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure the availability, callbratiom, and upkeep of all concrete, bitumen, soil and laboratories.
• Review mix designs, trial mixes, and test results for concrete, bitumens, soil and aggregates.
• Lead and mentor a team QA/QC Engineers across multiple sites.
• Coordinate between project sites, consultants, and clients for quality related issues.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of QA/QC reports to management and clients.
• Maintain proper documentation as per ISO 9001 and project -specific requirements.
• Must have handled multiple projects from Corporate / Regional Office level.
• Strong knowledge of MORTH, IRC Codes, BIS Standards, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant specifications.
