L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Hiring
Designation: Lead Electrical Engineer
Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- 15-22 years of experience in design and engineering within the Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon EPC domain.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project execution skills.
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical design teams for large-scale EPC projects.
- Oversee Feed and detailed engineering of electrical systems.
- Design and review HT/LT systems, control valves, Switchgears, and substations.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and vendors.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical excellence.

I have 17 years working experience (2007 to till date 2025) in Distribution and Transmission Project of execution under RAPDRP, DDUGJY and IPDS youjna and also have working experience in western Railway of S &T signalling cabling execution and interlocking of LC Gates installation and testing commissioning also in Bhavnagar and Rajkot Division.
I have also working experience in generation of electricity through hydro power project in NHPC as Project Manager of 27 years (1980 to 2007).
I am B.Tech(Electrical) from Roorkee IIT in the year 1979.-
