As an Engineer – QC at Smith Structures, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Your responsibilities will include.
1 – Welding & Fabrication Knowledge :- Basic understanding of welding and fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
2 – Fabrication Drawing :- Ability to interpret and work with fabrication drawings.
3 – Piping Drawing :- Basic knowledge of piping drawings and their applications.
4 – Techniques and Testing :- Familiarity with welding techniques such as SAW, GTAW, SMAW, and NDT techniques.
5 – Skill Development :- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to diverse functions within the QA/QC department.
6 – Standards Compliance :- Fabrication of vessels and heat exchangers under U-STAMP rules.
7 – Machine Shop Knowledge :- Understanding of machine shop operations, including LPT testing.
8 – Drawing Proficiency :- Knowledge of spool drawing.
9 – Machinery Skills :- Basic knowledge of lathe machines, drill machines, milling machines, and slotting machines.
