Position Details

• Position Title: Quality Assurance Manager
• Project: VDCR Package-B Project, Goregaon, Mumbai
• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Civil)
• Experience: Minimum 15 years overall, with at least 10 years in QA of civil bridge/interchange works
• Preferred: Immediate joiners or candidates with ≤ 30 days notice period

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop and Implement QA Policies

• Design and establish comprehensive QA systems, including testing and inspection procedures.
• Ensure the effective implementation of quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Lead and Manage QA Team

• Supervise and mentor QA personnel.
• Conduct recruitment, training, and performance assessments for the QA team.

3. Oversee Quality Control and Testing

• Coordinate and monitor all testing activities to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
• Ensure that construction materials and workmanship meet the highest standards.

4. Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring

• Analyze project quality metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Generate detailed QA performance reports for management review.

5. Ensure Compliance with Regulations

• Stay updated with industry standards and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
• Maintain compliance with local and international construction codes.

6. Issue Resolution and Corrective Actions

• Conduct root cause analysis on defects or non-conformities.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence.

7. Interdepartmental Collaboration

• Work closely with design, construction, and procurement teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Integrate QA practices in all phases — design, execution, and commissioning.

8. Continuous Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process optimizations to improve quality and reduce project risks.

9. Manage Internal and External Audits

• Conduct regular internal audits and support external inspections or audits.
• Ensure all project documentation and QA records are maintained properly.

Candidate Profile

• Proven expertise in Quality Assurance for Bridges and Interchanges.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementation.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Design & Build Civil Works environment preferred.
