We’re looking for Structure Design Engineer for Railway and Metro Projects.
HGIEL Job Vacancy 2026
Designation: Structure Design Engineer (Railway / Metro)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design metro / railway structures including Viaducts, bridges, stations, and foundations
- Perform structural analysis as per IS, IRC, RDSO, and DMRC standards
- Prepare and review structural drawings, BOQs, and design reports
- Develop structural models using STAAD Pro, ETABS, MIDAS, and SAP2000
- Carry out load calculations for dead, live, wind, seismic, and impact loads.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, architectural, MEP and alignment teams.
- Review and validate consultant and contractor design submission.
- Provide technical support during construction and resolve site issues.
- Review shop draiwngs, methods statements, and construction-realted designs.
- Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions.
- Ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality design solutions.
Skills Required:
- Strong structural engineering fundamentals
- Experience in Railway / Metro infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in structural design software
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving ability.
