Position Details

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the approved FQP for both TL & SS works.
• Ensure quality control measures are integrated throughout all project phases, from material receipt to commissioning.
• Lead, mentor, and monitor site QC engineers across multiple project locations.
• Plan manpower deployment for quality functions and conduct regular team performance evaluations.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for site teams and contractors on quality standards and best practices.
• Carry out inspections and verification for all construction stages — civil, mechanical, and electrical.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and approved construction drawings.
• Identify and report non-conformances; raise NCRs and follow through with corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure workmanship quality during tower erection, stringing, equipment installation, and related activities.
• Conduct incoming material visual inspection for steel structures, conductors, insulators, earth materials, and substation equipment.
• Ensure all materials meet project specifications before use or installation.
• Monitor construction activities such as foundation work, reinforcement, concreting, welding, earthing, and cable laying.
• Ensure execution follows approved method statements and standard work procedures.
• Witness and record results of all field and laboratory tests (FDT, concrete cube strength, earthing resistance, insulation resistance, continuity).
• Prepare and update quality registers, checklists, inspection reports, and daily logs.
• Submit daily/weekly quality performance reports to Head Office.
• Coordinate inspections with Third-Party Inspectors/Contractors.
• Support during internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with corrective actions.
• Participate in quality review meetings and ensure effective closure of open points.
