📍 Position Details

• Role: Manager – Tendering & Business Development (Water Sector)
• Location: Sion Regional Office, Mumbai
• Department: Water Vertical – Business Development / Tendering
• Reporting to: Head – Business Development / SBU Head – Water Projects

🎓 Qualification Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering or a related field
• MBA in Marketing or Business Development is an added advantage

💼 Experience Required

• 5 to 12 years of experience in tendering and business development in the water infrastructure sector
• Proven success in winning tenders for water supply, STP, or desalination projects

✅ Roles and Responsibilities

Business Development:

• Identify new business opportunities in public and private sector water projects (WS, STP, Desalination)
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Build relationships with government agencies, consultants, and contractors
• Represent company at events, exhibitions, and conferences

Tendering & Proposal Management:

• Review tender notices, RFPs, and RFQs from government bodies
• Prepare EOI, PQ, and technical/commercial proposals
• Collaborate with design, finance, procurement teams for bid compliance
• Manage documentation such as MOUs and consortium agreements
• Ensure adherence to BOQs, SoRs, CPHEEO Manual, and costing norms

Documentation & Compliance:

Follow WhatsApp Channel

• Register and pre-qualify with clients
• Maintain a live database of tenders and outcomes
• Stay updated on tender procedures and policies

Post-Tender Coordination:

• Follow up for clarifications, presentations, and negotiations
• Support contract finalization and handover to execution teams

Skills & Competencies

• Deep knowledge of water infrastructure projects and PPP models
• Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
• MS Office proficiency + experience with tendering portals (CPP, eProcurement)
• Analytical thinking and multitasking abilities
