Job Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing contractual, commercial, and claims-related aspects of hydro-tunnel and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Administration
- Review, interpret, and administer contract terms and conditions related to hydro-tunnel projects.
- Support in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing subcontract agreements, work orders, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure compliance with FIDIC / MoRTH / IRC contract conditions and statutory requirements.
Commercial Management
- Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders.
- Prepare and evaluate claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and additional cost submissions.
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, correspondence, and records.
Risk & Claims Management
- Identify contractual risks and suggest mitigation measures.
- Prepare and defend claims, counterclaims, and dispute cases.
- Coordinate with legal teams for arbitration, litigation, or settlements.
Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports related to contract performance, claim status, and risk assessment.
- Provide insights and updates to project leadership on contractual and cost-related matters.
