Currently, the company is inviting applications for the position of Business Development In-Charge for Latin America (Job Code: LA10), based in Guyana (South America).

Department: International Business Development

Job Overview

This role will spearhead international business development initiatives across the Latin American (LATAM) region. The selected candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term partnerships, and executing strategic expansion plans. Strong negotiating skills, knowledge of the local market, and the ability to build client relationships are critical for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

Follow WhatsApp Channel

• Develop and implement long-term business development strategies for targeted countries
• Identify market opportunities, potential partners, joint ventures, and agents
• Conduct competitor and market analysis
• Build and maintain client relationships via meetings and presentations
• Develop strategies for tender support and bid success
• Support proposal teams with client-focused, value-driven content
• Enhance company visibility through industry events and digital platforms
• Adapt strategies in line with LATAM cultural and business practices
• Promote business ethics and uphold company branding standards

Project Management:

• Interaction with clients for new projects
• Conduct feasibility analysis
• Prepare and manage project documentation including pre-bid correspondence, minutes, proposals, and contracts
• Key Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA, or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years in Infrastructure or Power Sector Business Development

Skills:

• Proficiency in tendering software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to lead large-scale business development initiatives and close complex deals
• Strong understanding of the Latin American market
