🛠 Project Scope: Development of a 4-lane Economic Corridor from Bowaichandi to Guskara–Katwa Road (Km 89.814 to Km 133.000) on NH 116A under Hybrid Annuity Mode.

Job Details

• Position: Mechanical Incharge – Flyover/ROB/Viaduct Construction
• Job Code: BGM15
• Location: Bardhaman, West Bengal
• Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 15+ years in plant and machinery management for infrastructure projects, including 5 years in viaduct/flyover projects

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Equipment Management

• Manage mobilization, operation & maintenance of heavy machinery
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance
• Fuel/consumption optimization

2. Site Coordination

• Coordinate with civil and structural teams
• Ensure lifting readiness & operational safety

3. Team Supervision

Follow WhatsApp Channel

• Lead mechanics, welders, electricians, etc.
• Conduct training & daily task allocation

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with BOCW, RDSO, IRC-SP, NHAI norms
• Conduct inspections and toolbox talks

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain logs, reports, and spares records
• Report equipment uptime and coordinate procurement

Technical Skills Required

• Hydraulic, mechanical handling, bridge launching systems
• Reading drawings/manuals
• Familiarity with CMMS/ERP tools

Preferred Certifications

• BOCW, First Aid, Fire Safety, Lifting Supervisor
• Crane/Diesel/Mechanical maintenance training
• DG set operation

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel/relocate
• Strong communication & leadership skills
• Willingness for shift-based roles
